Schedule

Conference attendees listening to a talk.

Talks and workshops to captivate & inspire

Each day of the conference focuses on a different theme - you can join us for all of them or a pick a day that suits you and your team best. We have all our talks in the morning, and then after lunch everyone heads off to their chosen workshops to do some hands on, practical learning.

What's on?

Designing Products

Day One focuses on designing amazing products that deliver value to your customers and your business. How do you conceive user-centred products and bring them to market? And once those products have launched, how do you continue to improve them through a Lean, Design-Measure-Learn process? We're still putting the finishing touches to our schedule so check back here for regular updates. Who to bring: Bring your product managers, product designers, and scrum masters.

Morning Events

Couch to 5K at UX London

Start your day with a casual 30-minute run on Wednesday and Thursday morning with speaker Josh Clark, who also created the popular Couch to 5K running schedule. All levels are welcome; both the pace and conversation will be easy, a great way to get the blood pumping and the ideas flowing with fellow attendees. We'll run through Greenwich Park. Meet outside the National Maritime Museum, next to "Nelson's Ship in a Bottle”. Meet at 07.20 for a 07.30 start.

WI-FI Wars come to Laban

Join us for drinks and nibbles, then charge your smart phones folks, and get ready to go retro for a bout of healthy/fierce old school video game battles with WI-FI Wars. Wi-Fi Wars is the world-record breaking live comedy game show where you play along! Log in with your smartphone or tablet (make sure you've got plenty of battery - we'll have charging points to hand) and compete in a range of games, quizzes and challenges to win the show, and prizes! Hosted by comedian Steve McNeil, team captain on Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit along with tech wizard Rob Sedgebeer (who together are famed for breaking the Guinness World Record for "Most People Playing A Single Game of Pong”.) Expect frenetic competitive gaming, an exploration into the tech that Rob is developing and a whole lot of UX fun and silliness.

Designing the Future

Day Three is all about looking at the new tools, technologies, and interaction trends shaping our future work. Where will the rise of AI take us? Are conversational interfaces the next frontier? How can we adapt to ever changing consumer expectations? We hope to answer these big questions and more. We're still putting the finishing touches to our schedule so check back here for regular updates. Who to bring: Bring your managers, executives and leadership team.

Pilates

Give your spine a treat with a morning dose of pilates with Amelia in Laban Studio 3. Wear loose and comfortable clothes. All levels welcome!
